Choices...

I used to be able to do this but for some reason now I can't remember how. Basically Im setting up a clothing website you buy a pair of jeans and you choose 32 34 etc.. from a drop down menu and then you add to cart. In the order it needs to tell me what size they selected.

How do I do this again?

Hey, just reading through it now.. One problem it says to make your attribs and choices inside a component within a product but once I make a component it wont let me make an attribute? I want this so that the sizes have their own stock control?

Yes it will. Try again on a fresh product. Create Product. Create Component. Highlight Component, right-click and create Attribute, then Choices.

PS "it won't let me" isn't a useful comment. Best describe clearly what you're doing, what happens or what message you get.
