Packing List Report

Hello all,

Is there any way I can show the item reference number on the packing List. It currently only shows the SHORT DESCRIPTION field..

My reason for this is because my client sells CDs, DVDs and Videos all with the same short description. When the packing List is handed to the packer, he has no way of knowing what kind of format is being asked for.


I dont really want to have to write the words 'DVD' or 'CD' etc for every item in the short description field.

The product code/reference and the short description are standard on the packing list report. Not sure what the problem is...are the configured product references not clear enough?

The product codes will only show if you are not using autogenerated product references, you can check this setting in your busines settings on the order processing tab.

Good point Jan - I forgot to mention that.

If you wish to use auto-generated references and wish them to appear on your packing list then the packing list report will need to be modified.

This can be done - if you wish you can contact me off-forum to discuss this.

That's what the problem was.

I have unchecked the autogenerated product references and everything is fine now.
