importing

Hi,

Can someone tell me if its possible to remove an item when importing? e.g. can the import file have a delete flag, or do you have to do deletes manually? I mean for updates rather than an all product type import.

You can set the 'hide on site' checkbox value, which would mean the item is still in your content tree, but does not get uploaded to the website.

Would that achieve your aim?

Don't know about flat file import but the hierarchical has a field called IsDeleted with 0 for No and 1 for yes.

The field can be used in both the section and product headers.
