Regarding the main reason for the latest release, with all the upgrades happening to psp's (and I'd imagine they'll get more frequent in the next year or so), who's to say users will not switch to the card detail transfer method in an emergency as their regular psp settings may need adjusting/upgraded (or whatever).

      Just a thought.

It needs a little tidy up, but the links and files are there for downloading...

We only go back as far as 6.1.3 through to current versions.

I didn't want to say last night cos tbh i thot it was taking the mic to do it, but it was your site where the guy downloaded from. I recalled a distant post from someone and finally narrowed it down to you from the acronym game. The guy's comments were directly about your site, so although you might not think it's great looking, it got me out of a hole and my guy was more than fine with it - so thank you.

Thinking about it, we should all probably do such a thing and completely discount the actinic site, whatever they say, i'm afraid i see too many situations where they just do not listen. This area of concern was raised months and months ago and little has been done. I wouldn't mind but they actively encourage you to upgrade, yet make it impossible to do so at times. I'm getting tired of waiting for basic stuff to be done, i'm sick of the delay to things like this, there is no need for emails, memos or management meetings, somebody with a bit of logic and common sense needs to look at it, think 'that is so crap' and sort it there and then.

You take some of the fun out of this industry, sort yourselves out for heavens sake.

constant upgrades that wipe scripts every time mean that they all have to be re-done constantly
A major pain. I've now got set of WinMerge batch commands that compare all the scripts between each version just so I can see whether I've got to redo everything yet again.

Luckily the only difference between HFUA and HIZA is PerlScript.pl (and that's only because it contains the dayno).

So all that needs doing in an HFUA to HIZA upgrade is to re-install any modified Perl without having to re-edit said scripts.

Maybe Actinic could release this type of info with its patches, a simple statement like this could save developers hours and hours reinventing the wheel

              I think I covered that

upgrading a site that's been customised can create its own problems and there are times when it's better not to fix what's not broken.
There are no down-sides that are specific and particular to upgrading to v8.5.1 HIZA

Yep, this is one of the first things I check when upgrading. What we really need is not just a statement saying the scripts have changed but an actual list of which ones have changed, then we can easily go through the ones that have and make the amendments and simply copy and paste ones which haven't (should there be any customisation)
                  Cheers
