deleting the homepage and all brochure pages.

after various warnings from the interface, it will let me delete the homepage. but is this a wise move? i dont actually need it, i'm using a cms, but, can i ever get it back? will things be broken?

i cant find any documents detailing what will happen if i do this!

Up to you really....

if you want actinic to control root/index then you need the home page, if you only use actinic for shopping pages then ditch it

I've just done the reverse, brough home page into actinic so i can allow actinic to auto control bestsellers etc on root/index whilst having all other non shop pages in DW

You can get it back at any time by doing a right click and 'Add New Brochure Page'. Call it Home, name the page index.html and on you go...

Nothing bad will happen - except as Jo hints, you will need to create your own 0 byte text file called index.html to protect the root folder.
