shipping quantity gone mad

I have a catalogue with in excess of 4000 products, for some unknown reason for each product, under the details tab, the shipping quantity has gone to 1246576928, and both the shipping suppliment and handling suppliment have changed to -£912,300,000,000,000,000.00

This is causing all kinds of problems. Anyone know how to solve this problem, preferably without having to go through every product.

Do you have a previous snapshot you can revert to, sounds like some changes you have been trying to make have gone wrong. If you haven't changed anything at all, then try some housekeeping with a compact database and a refresh. I expect this is due to some changes you have tried to make though. Hopefully you backed up before you tried and can reinstate the site in a working manner.

It's for a customer, so I don't know if they have a back up or not. I have tried all the housekeeping and trouble shooting options with out any joy.

I would suggest finding out what they have been doing then, i presume they are in contact with you cos they tried something and messed it up. It sounds like a mistake their end or a corrupt database in need of some TLC, but these are just guesses, try and get to the bottom of what they have been up to first.

I had the similar problem. I don't know from which day on some products' Estimated stock in hand had changed to 1246576928, and can't be changed back in actinic. (I tried to change it but it wouldn't save)

I had to open mdb and find that field and edit it.

Absolutely no idea about the cause.
