Actinic Link VAT codes in Quickbooks

Hi
Does anyone know if is possible, if so how, to set up actinic link so that you can differentiate between UK VAT and EC VAT, then when the orders are imported into Quickbooks they are allocated the correct VAT code to enable you to fill out your VAT return correctly?

Any help much appreciated as technical support are at a dead loss!!!!!

At the moment actinic can only add VAT to a product or not. You can't have two different VATs/Rates depending on the country.

I can see why you'd want to do it this way, but doubt if this will be supported in Actinic in the near future.

I'm going to disagree with you here Mke. On the tax tab in Settings | Business Settings, click on the + to add a new row to the tax table, give the tax a unique name (TVA ?) and set the rate.

Select the EU Tax Zone, and in the drop down, select TVA as the Tax1 to apply.

Note: Untested, but it should work.

I guess the question is whether Actinic will assign a new tax code or stick with 301.

It will assign a new tax code - I've just added and deleted to see what it does.
