Strange message

This is my first thread so be kind to me! I have put new products into Sage, processed them thru Actilink (having shut Sage down as I know that causes awful problems) gone back into Actinic V8 - content - file - Import Sage Line 50 data- done- all the info I need is sitting at the bottom on left hand side ready to be dragged into the appropriate section - when I highlight what I want this message comes up and won't let me do anything at all:
Empty values are not permitted for the variable 'NumberAttributesInPushButtonGrid' what does that mean and how can I free it all up? I am stuck with a non functioning shop at the moment!

Hi Sandra

When you first import the products into Actinic, try clicking on the 'Properties' tabs of these products. Do you see a field that says 'Number of Attributes in Push Button Grid'?

If you don't, I suggest deleting all the products you've just imported, and try the import again. I'd suggest taking a snapshot before the import though so you've got something to quickly go back to.
