I am working with a client who wants to use the shopping cart to collect donations. I have added a product and called it "Donation". Different price options have been created. Example, $20, $30, $40, all the way to $500. They have asked instead of having the drop down with the different amounts to have it so the user can enter the amount they want. Is there a way to do this in Actinic 8?

Quantity to not show
That is a good idea except that the customer has also requested to not show a quantity. They wanted it removed all together. They want the user to be able to add in any amount.
Any other suggestions.Justin Burleson

Think a bit longer before rejecting the right answer.
If you create a layout just for this product and change the prompt on the quantity box for this one product to read 'Dollar amount you wish to donate', then the 'buyer' enters a quantity which is multiplied by the $1.00 unit price to give a total donation amount of ????Bill
