Because they probably never really needed doing at all.

Many of my less important items never reach the top - I delete them, there's always something more important to do...

It's called "Broken Window Syndrome" and literally is a fascinating subject to study.

          Corrupt order?

          Hi
We've some how got a corrupt order downloaded today - I say 'corrupt' because that is what actinic calls it. It has a strange order number all numbers but the last 4 digits are in our order sequence. Opening it causes actinic to close but it is completely empty. You can navigate certain tabs in the record but on trying to exit it crashes actinic. Bizarely it sent us an order confirmation but it was totally blank and also it had the payment method invoice and payment before delivery which is not available online.

It allowed me to complete it so it moved it to the completed section.

I wondered if anyone had experienced it before and why it may have happened and whether I should be worried about it!

We've had orders since which all seem fine.

          Thanks
          Donna

Donna, have a look at #4 in this thread:

There's no mention of a resolution, but John might be able to help if you contact him.

                Oops!

                It's dated 24th Jan 2008 and says:

                Hi,

I'm seeing this as well, had maybe 3 or 4 in the last couple of weeks. Probably just someone arsing around, but would be good to know how, and to confirm that it's not a real order gone bad!

as above, everything is blank. no name/address/products/quantities/prices - nothing. Mole auto one stop thingy prints there out as just a blank invoice/address label/packing note. The only thing there that is not in the blank template is the order number. (strangly the first 6 digits of the order number is all numbers)

If I try to open it in actinic it says 'the selected order is corrupt. no details were found'

So is it assuming it's corrupt because no details were found... or were no details found because it was corrupt...?
