    Error opening ../acatalog/87Z127Z102Z124A1192442203B64303.session (Permission denied)

Tried importing site from backup but didnt fix problem.

    Any help/advice much appreciated.

These files aren't created by your back-office PC but by customers shopping on the site.

The one you refer to above is from someone on IP address 87.127.102.124.

By deleting these files, you'll have broken that particular customers shopping cart but new customers should be OK as they will get freshly created session files.

Try getting someone to make a test purchase and see if they're OK.

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I have tried what you suggested and am still getting errors whenever I click on the add to cart button or store top button or view cart button.

A collegue has tried from a different PC in the office with same result.

      Any further idea's please?

      Regards,

      Paul

              Hi Paul

              Are your cgi-bin permissions correct?

If so, change your cgi id number

WEB | NETWORK SETTINGS | CGI SCRIPT ID

Then refresh your site (not update) and post back the results please.

Have you tried Housekeeping menu > Compact databases (both) then a Web menu > Refresh?. It sometimes clears script/file problems.

This problem has been going on since 2007/10/12 13:06, so 3 days now. The usual cause is having the wrong permission settings on the acatalog folder so that's where I'd start. They should be set to 755 or 777.
