moving choices around is deleting permutations

I've searched the forums and can't find any reference to this so I'm not sure if it's come up before or not.

I'm having problems with my permutations disappearing when I swap the positions of my choices.

Example.. I have a product with 2 attributes..one for colour, one for (bike) model.

Permutations are all filled to enable different prices for different combinations.

All works fine etc

BUT, if I change the order of the choices in the list (swap the colour order, for example) it removes the permutations for the item I've moved.

Is Actinic invisibly cutting and pasting it and the cut is removing the permutations?

Has anyone else come across this?
It's making my job time consuming because I'm having to enter some of my permutations again

Good thing it's only prices and not associated products I'm doing or I'd be really peeved!

Hi Tracey - unfortunately, when you change positions of choices at the moment it effectlively deletes the choice and then re-creates it again - but with a different ID - so this loses the permutation details. This is the reason it's happening - but I'll raise it as a bug as it shouldn't.
