how can i have a print function for just product not whole page?

    Hi Guys

how can i add a button or link that lets the user print just the product details on show and not the whole site with menus banners etc?

How about using the Extended Info Popup page for this purpose?

You could have the Extended Info button be something like
    "Print product details"

and use a very simple, clean layout i.e. popup only contains details on the product.

Or depending on your level of ability there are some simple javascripts on the web that can load the contents of a div into a blank page for printing. This mean you can wrap your entire product layout in a div and dump it all onto a blank page for printing.

                        Lee,

Just rip the code from the print page, it was taken from the web (publically available)

Ah OK cool, you should get that put into the AUG with your name on it for thinking of it. Javascript is something i'm learning at the moment, being able to grab the contents of a div and print is a superb idea and something i've just learnt.

                          Thanks bud.
