    Brochure Page Links using Smart Layout

    Hi,

    I've searched but cant seem to find a thread on the following:

    I have recently changed my layout to smart, but in the process have lost the brochure page links (were in LHS box just below section list). I only get the text links just under the banner when I choose 'works best with smart' in setting/site options/layout/brochure page layout. None of the other options seem to work in smart layout.

    Can anyone help - I'm trying to get main brochure page links in LHS box just below section lists.

    NB, I'm using 8.0.2.0.0.0 (can't upgrade at moment due to interface with other software.)

    Aileen.

    That theme does not have the brochure pages displaying by default. You can add them in manually though.. checkout other threads on adding news boxes to smart theme.. this has been covered extensively in v7 and recently (IRC) in v8.

      Thanks Jont,

      After a look through a few of the V7 threads I manages to work out how to do it. For anyone else with the same problem, please see html below, which I added directly under the html in the JavaScript Section List in a Box in the design tab.

      <br/>
      <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%">
      <tr>
      <td valign="top" width="8%" bgcolor="<actinic:variable name="Palette2" />"><img src="theme_tab2_left.gif" /></td>
      <td bgcolor="<actinic:variable name="Palette2" />" width="84%" height="20"><span class="boxheading">Brochure Pages</span></td>
      <td valign="top" width="8%" align="right" bgcolor="<actinic:variable name="Palette2" />"><img src="theme_tab2_right.gif" /></td>
      </tr>
      </table>
      <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%">
      <tr>
      <td>
      <td colspan="3" class="thinborder2" style="padding: 10px;">
      <a href="http://reelsndeals.com/acatalog/About_Newmill.html">About Newmill</a><hr/>
      <a href="http://reelsndeals.com/acatalog/Product_Tests.html">Product Tests</a><hr/>
      <a href="http://reelsndeals.com/acatalog/Lure_Forming.html">Lure Forming</a><hr/>
      <a href="http://reelsndeals.com/acatalog/Big_Fish_Pictures.html">Big Fish Pictures</a><hr/>
      <a href="http://reelsndeals.com/acatalog/Finding_Us.html">Finding Us</a>
      </td>
      </tr>
      </table>

      Obviously you would need to amend text, links, colours and themes to match your site.

      Cheers,
      Aileen.
