    Component pricing "display price" question

    Hi folks

    I'm confused!

If I have a product with an optional component, lets say for example the product is a laser printer and the optional extra is a spare toner cartridge, I can create a component for the toner cartridge and make it optional (hence adding a tick box next to the option) however I can't find any way of making the price of the option appear next to the name. There is just a tick box and the words "optional toner cartridge" but I wan't the upgrade price to be displayed next to this.

I have looked in the Layout tab for the component and next to Retail price layout it says Use Parent (=Additional price in brackets). So why doesn't the price appear?

    Many thanks

Have you still got the example products in your store? If so take a look at the example and compare that to what you have done. If not, then maybe take a few minutes to provide some screenshots of what you have setup, it's much easier for us to see, than try and picture what you have done.

I think you might find that you get prices added when you have choices, if you have straight components, then put the price in the text manually.
