    QB POS Link and QB POS v7 problem

    has anyone experienced any problems with POS Link pulling data in from QB POS version 7? The tech support guys say that POS Link is only rated for POS 6...

    I have tried to pull in my clients data (leading to a data truncated error when Actinic fires up), but I can't find the problem on the POS side of the house. I went into their system and saw that they had 30 departments, but the catalog section table in the actinic Db shows many more than that.

    The POS has 1600+ items in only 30 categories, but the 'automatic' import advertised on the homepage doesn't seem to be as seemless as I might have hoped.

    Are there any trick to configuring (or reworking) a client's POS system to ensure a smooth import?

    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Actinic will only work with QB POS v5 and v6 at the moment. The import problems will be down to the verion of POS. I would suggest getting in touch with Brian of Sure Solutions (www.actinic.com) as he should be able to give you a better idea of what to do.
