Clearing the Cart when checked out

When the person checks out and goes to paypal or nextbanx, i expected to see the cart empty when the go back to the site, but its still got the original items in.

How do i clear it when the leave the checkout page or the website.

Theres some info on how to do it when the person clicks the cancel button, but i wonder if im missing a setting or need to add the same info to a certain page.

Ps sorry for all the posts lately, im very close to setting the shop to live and need to get all of these things sorted

Anyone have any ideas, i would rather not go live until ive sorted out the shopping cart problem.

Unless something has changed recently, I don't think actinic deletes the cookies once the order is complete. They will expire automatically after a certain time though.

There is a thread with some code that will do this and it can be added to the 'done' button on the receipt page to make it semi-automatic.

A search of the forum should find the relevant thread.
