VAT Rounding

As a new (trial) user, even after only a couple of days "playing", I find this software amazingly powerful.

However, I am very alarmed at the basic problem of VAT rounding.

The forums have many comments on this, mostly last year, though none has given much comfort.

I seem unable to buy 100 items of an item priced, including VAT, at £10 and have the answer equal exactly £1000.00

Is there a solution to this that I have missed?

Is there an upgrade planned to resolve this issue?

You just need to change your VAT rounding from per line to per item.

i.e. 'Round Item Scientific' rather than 'Round Line Scientific' for example.

Are there any plans to allow input of the Gross Price including VAT?

I believe V9 will have much improved handling of VAT but I don't think any of the details have been made public yet.

And please don't ask for a timescale on V9. Any answers you get are unlikely to be helpful.
