Digital Download error message

Hi, I've just started using the Digital Download facility. I entered all my products and refreshed web successfully without any problems.
Then I did a test purchase (using my real cc) where I noticed that the download link isn't working and keep grtting this error message:

Error 500 - Internal server error

Any ideas?
Could it be something to with the permissions of my download files?
Everything else is working very smoothly.

Hi,
There is a good walkthrough on setting up digital downloads on the KnowledgeBase here:

If you could post a link to the page and let us know what the product is we can take a look to see if the link to the download file is formed correctly for you.

Check that you have used the correct filename, that the link is formed correctly and that the file is located within the DD folder within the acatalog folder upon the server.

Issue: When buyers attempt to download the ordered file they get the error:-

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Solution: This may occur if the server uses a CGI-Wrapper that does not support non-parsed headers. Check the server HTTP error log for the error:-

nph-dl000001.pl malformed header from script. Bad header=HTTP/1.1 200 OK:

To resolve this problem rename nph-download.pl to download.pl in the site directory on your PC and update the site ( Web | Update Website).
