Modified Invoice Report and Vista??

I have made some modifications to a report for a client which works fine on my test systems running XP but not on the client's Vista system.

The client copied the new Invoices.rpt file into the Actinic v8 folder (which is located in the default location in Program Files on C:\) overwriting the original but Actinic still seems to be using the original file somehow.

Can anyone help with ideas on how to solve this please?

Only thing that springs to mind is whether they also have the folder in my documents and either it needs to be in there or they have put it in there instead etc.

They say that they have the Site folders in D:\... but the guts of Actinic in the 'normal' location. They also said that they were prompted to allow the new file to overwrite the old one and said yes to that.

Could it be related to logon rights? Does Vista maintain different files per user?
I have queried whether they are logged in as admin.

Sorry Duncan i couldn't comment on Vista, i'd just be guessing. It is very strange though if they had to confirm an overwrite. I cannot see a reason for there to be 2 copies of this report, so therefore could only put this down to some permissions or rights like you say.

Tell them to try a reboot as an outside chance, sorry can't help any more.
