New Actinic

Hi all.

Installed full version of the Beta over 8.5HFUA build last night. Pleased to report it was trouble free on my Vista laptop, updated an old version of our website with no glitches (and it does have some customisation in places).
Seems to load faster on starting actinic, but not really had time to "play" yet.

If anybody has trouble with Dreamweaver MX on a Vista machine I have managed a good installation...You have to tell the SETUP programme to run as a windows XP programme, likewise when it's installed it needs to be windows XP compatible. This seems to have cured all problems with tables and sharing violations. I know, I know, this is an Actinic forum but Dreamweaver does get used with Actinic, doesn't it?

Yeah - there's been a delay in getting the second beta out. The software is fine, but it's just taken longer than it should have done to build it. Anyway, it's built now - the QA team are just taking a look at it to check it all installs OK and then it's over to you. Hopefully tomorrow.

As CD does St Vitus dance dodging these emails he will be rushing around a dark and echoy Actinic tower looking for someone to upload a file to their web server. Problem is the tower is empty and the lights are out at 16:00 on a Friday.
