    HERA vs HUFA vs HIZA

I have a problem. I have to move our Actinic install from one computer to another and cannot seem to do it.

The site was created it V8.5.1.1 HERA.

The computer it will be installed onto will be running 8.5.1.1 HIZA.

Actinic will not let me import the snapshot from HERA to HIZA, I get errors and it will not load. I would just use HERA on the new one but it is no longer downloadable and I cant seem to find it anywhere.

I am using business multi-site btw.

Is there something I am missing here?

    Regards

I get errors and it will not load.
Care to expand on this so we can offer assistance?

      Exceptions - fatal errors
(File SnapshotWizard.cpp, Line 1090) - The parameter is incorrect.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance.

You can download HERA from Teclan's site here:

Although technically you don't want to be using HERA as it has all the duplicate bug and othere.

At this stage you should be trying to fix the problem so you can use HIZA.

I'd make sure you downloaded and installed the FULL version of HIZA and then go back to the old PC, compact the database andrecreate the snapshot and try again. The solution here for future proofing is to get the snapshot into HIZA

Bang on....you need to use the FULL install not the patch and then as Jo states, eradicate the errors within.

You will need to update your HERA version before exporting a snapshot me thinks.

Thank you for the suggestion, I will give upgrading a shot then exporting. Although I will do it with great trepidation and hope to god it works, if neither machine works then I am really screwed.

just make sure you have backed up first, then you can always restore if it does go pete tong.
