Sections showing that dont exist

Hi everyone.

Got a very weird problem this morning.

Ive just rearranged a section of a site i work on and all of a sudden, there is a sub section being listed that does not exist.

You will see a dot(bullet) point but if you have a look at the screenshot i took of my content tree at the point just before upload. You and I cannot see a section called "richard".

("rochard" is supposed to say "richard")

Any ideas anyone, ive done a site refresh and loads, but cant get my head around it, i cant find it anywhere, also, if i try to create a section called "richard" it says ther is already a section with that name.

When I look at that page, the mouseover says 'richard' and the destination page is copy_of_richard.html

What should it be saying?

Another thought: try looking for a subsection in 'Mark'.

That is right, it was an old section that i deleted, it managed to delete it from view, but not ACTUALLY deleting it lol

I cant get to it to delete it properly.

Did you look in 'Mark' to see if it's been moved into there? The fact that it's a bullet points suggests it could now be a subsection.

Wipe the server, compact the actinic database, do web refresh. In that order.

Still the same after that? Uninstall the software, never install it ever again and walk to the pub for a drink.

Aye this is a long standing issue when moving sections around. It officially does not ever happen so make it a double in the pub

lol, i went for the "software is broke - im going home for the day" at 2pm hehe

Will try that "wipe the server" option when i have a week to track all the extra files.

Lol, yeh he is the MD, the guy just below the bullet.

That was his old link, he has a nice new one with uppercase letters and a description now haha

For some reason, it just "appeared" when i went on it today and i was able to delete it.
