Hi everybody

We want to offer a benefit to returning members associated with one of the shops.

One of the benefits we want to offer is free shipping to certain zones for members (those that have a customer account).

At the moment, shipping is £10 to England, Wales, and Scottish Borderlands, £15 to the Scottish Highlands and Orkney Islands, and £20 to Northern Ireland. This is done at the moment by setting up three different zones, with all the counties from the UK assigned to one of those zones.

What we want is for members to have a different shipping table ie: Free to Conwy County, £10 to England, Wales and Scottish Borderlands, £15 to the Scottish Highlands and Orkney Islands, and £20 to Northern Ireland.

Is this possible, and if so, how?

Change your courier to one that has the same rate for all of the UK.

Could it be done by having a drop down for the county? Much like the country one decides on the Continent?

is this one of those features that would be really cool, but just can't be done.

I've have several Qs from clients asking how to set up coupons that offer free postage - within a shop that normally charges shipping by weight.

Aren't you just saying you want members to get free shipping to Conwy County?

In which case couldn't you have an extra zone called Conwy County that is free to registered memebers?

I'll take that as a 'No, actinic can't do that'.

In which case your only option is to create a shipping service called 'Registered Members Only' that has the price you want. If anyone else uses it you email them and say "THAT'S FOR REGISTERED MEMBERS ONLY !"

Maybe this is one for the wishlist then, to have counties of the UK in the same dropdown option as states in the US and Canada? Thus allowing more control of courier shipping costs.
