Search 404 error page not found

Search brings up the above error, have searched the community and tried web site purge and refresh but still dose not work

Any help much apreciated.

you have styling (<h2> and <span> tags) in your form for the quick search.

Track it down (in your quick search layout) and remove it and it might fix your problem

In your "Design" tab
In the TOP (preview) window, click on the search button and it should bring up the layout code in the window underneath.
The problem is probably not visible in the actual search layout, you might need to click on the purple "SearchCGIURL" to open that layout and strip the coding out of the SearchCGIURL (blue) variable.

If all you see is the blue text saying SearchCGIURL, then click the the green arrows button in the layout code menu (switch between basic and advanced views)

I think you'll see some code in there that shouldn't be

It should just say <actinic:variable name="SearchCGIURL" />
