The standard actinic cart summary doesn't work in IE6
Errrr - it does and always has done on every site Ive ever built. If there was a general problem with the mini cart not working in ie6 it would have been notice LONG before now. I also use kermys cart and have never had a problem with that in 6 or 7.

Never had a problem either and have never had one complaint about our cart not working since using v8, so I think we can safely say it's ok.
              Cheers

added one item to cart on bb

                see attached image in IE6

Probably not the best time to mention it (whilst tracey is steaming) but the site colours on BB remind me of baby's poo - not the best colours for a mother/baby site IMVHO

We appear to have a 50/50 divide then cos Jonty is reporting they don't work either. I went to your cheapmowers site and your puddings site and they don't work for me. They both also fire an error message (below) when first trying to add something. The cart summary is OK, its the mini cart that doesnt work.

This must be a browser setting then i presume as we will all be on the same version of the browser.

                    hmm..thanks Jo.
Well I won't worry too much about it (not that I was doing anyway really) but it probably should have been investigated and fixed when V8 was first around.
Maybe it's browser security specific then

as for baby poo....call it a gentle "weaning" of mums-to be

Sure is - the error message is a well known one and down to user settings which is beyond our control.

My IE6 is standard, i only use it for testing, never changed anything, so a cause for concern then if standard settings don't work.

Double checked the cheapmowers and puddings sites and they both work ok for me - however petes is not working for me which is odd as I have never seen one not working before.

The only reason for a sudden change like this would be a windows update that has upset the apple cart - does MS still issue updates for ie6??

maybe we're not all using the same version?

I'll try to check on the PC when I get home (it has an original version of IE6, I'm using one of the multi-version IE ones)
