Preserving Sort Order in Orders Tab

This has probably been covered already, but a search did not locate any threads relating to it.

I can sort the orders in the completed orders tab to order date ascending (so that the most recent order is at the bottom), and limit the number of orders on view by not displaying orders more than n days old.

However, the next time I open Actinic it maintains the limit on the number of orders displayed, but loses the sort order (reverting to most recent order at the top). Is this a bug in V8 (or a problem in my registry settings), or is there some other way that I can set my desired sort order as the default?

I think it is a V8 bug..I've mentioned it before and quite a few others said they had a similar problem.

Mine is erratic. Sometimes sorts right, randomly does it in reverse.
Maybe they'll fix it one day

OK, thanks for the reassurance. This used to work OK in v7, so it'll be interesting to see if anyone from Actinic comments on the problem.

BTW, your avatar is looking very racy!

THIS is the thread where I previous complained about it.

Not fixed yet...maybe in 8.5.2.....or not, didn't see it mentiond but I wasn't looking for it so might have missed it

This still seems to be the way it works in V9 as well.

yes, I noticed that too, John.
I always want my orders, on my screen, with the most recent at the top and EVERY time I open Actinic, it shows the oldest at the top, despite the fact that I change it every time
(and yes, I realise that's the opposite way round to my OP in the linked thread, I've evolved My point is valid regardless though)

Come on, Actinic. This used to work in V7!!

              Hi all

I've raised this as a bug for v9 and asked the developers to sort it out as a priority.
