    web orders

    Hi There,

My client has had a few web orders now where customers have used Switch (or the equivalent) where they are not asked for an Issue Number which is essential for them to process the transaction. They have just talked to one guy who told them that he was forced to give a valid from date even though his card does not have one (I think that this is unique to HSBC) so he made something up!

Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen?

    Many thanks in advance

Go on Angi, give us a clue which payment method they're using.

      My client says its switch.

He only has mastercard, visa and switch as payment choices.

Hope this helps a little more.

      Thanks

I think he means payment method Angi, not card type. Is he processing on site or using a PSP?

I had a look in Business Settings > Payment & Security. I clicked on configure method and unticked start date for the switch card type option.

          Thanks again

Switch does not exist anymore? probably solo but it was replaced with Meastro, if there are some around, which i doubt then the method you have used s correct but you need to add meastro - no issue but valid from and to dates

Switch is indeed as dead as Spur's push for champions league football this year.
