    Business Multi Site

    Would it be possible to use Business Multi Site for both the following:

    1. Design and maintain your OWN multiple stores (I know the answer to this is yes)

    2. Design and deploy sites to clients (same way as designer) using either Catalog Client or full Catalog for them to maintain the store.

    Looking for what would be the most economical way of achieving the above scenario.

    1. Yes
    2. Yes for full Catalog but not for Catalog Client. To purchase a Catalog Client licence you need to have a Designer licence.

    It also depends on whether you wish to maintain the Catalog sites for customers - if so then they will only need Client licences, otherwise if you want them to be able to maintain their own site then they will need full Catalog.

        Just another option I am thinking of.

        Is it possible to run 2 or 3 copies of Client Catalog on one PC?

        I have Designer which is fine when creating for clients but our company has decided to run 2 or 3 stores for ourselves. Which is why I was asking about Business Multi Site but I understand it is about £1200 for the upgrade (From designer to Business MS). It would be cheaper for us to have 3 copies of Client Catalog but they would have to run of the same PC.

        Hope that all makes sense!

          You cannot run designer and client on the same PC - discussed recently if you do a search.

            Sorry did not make myself clear

            Designer would be run of my laptop. The copies of Client Catalog would be run off a dedicated PC at work. I was just wondering whether multiple copies of Client catalog could be run from that machine. One for each of the stores.
