removing a custom tab?

Is there a way of removing a custom tab I have created within actinic?
It no longer has any attributes linked to it (though they still display).
Not a problem just annoying that I can't get rid of it.

I think this is a bug. Normally when you remove any variable etc that usees that Place of Setting it should just automatically go.

Ahh! Sorry I didn't update the community. I may not have removed the attribute fully, I got rid of my custom layout but not the variable. It is fine now.
