Secure Hosting UK only

Hi There,

I have a client that only wants customers in the UK to pay through Secure Hosting and then he wants everyone from the rest of the world to pay the normal way by adding their credit card details through Actinic.

Thing is I have set it up to show secure Hosting when you are in the UK but its also showing me the credit card payment option below when I have disabled from the UK, is there anyway I can hide it??

Can you provide a screenshot of your payment settings, i understand what you are saying now (i get there in the end). Your checkout is also firing a unsecure warning, you probably have something fully referenced instead of relative.

From the screenshots that you've provided the settings look correct, but I checked the URL that you've given and at the moment it only seems to be defaulting to Secure Hosting. So if you have turned it off all I can suggest is that you reset and do a full refresh of the site to see it that helps.

Hi There,

I had to revert back to secure hosting being the only payment service provider until I got an answer back from the forum, as the client was getting orders with people in the UK using the standard payment option rather than going to secure hosting.

I have set up the same scenario on my test site and it still does the same thing, please could you have a look for me?

Sorry to keep coming back on this but im hoping someone can help with please?

I have set it up that in Business Settings > Payment & Security > that Secure Hosting has "limit by location" ticked and UK only is selected for that and then "credit card details captured for later" has "limit by location" ticked and all the other countries except UK is selected.

The screen shot I have attached is a bit more clearer and should hopefully explain what im trying to do, it just seems strange that you cant hide the following:

Credit Card Type:
Credit Card Number:
Credit Card Ex date:
Credit Card Start date:
Credit Card Issue Number:

When only Secure Trading is your only payment method.

Please can someone help me??

Hi Angi,

It looks to me as if it's all set up correctly, so I guess it's down to the way actinic is working. I wouldn't be surprised if actinic simply uses the 'restrict by location' bit to remove certain options from the list of payment methods displayed to the customer. The capture card details option appears on that very page so might not be controlled by the list of available payment options.

the only way to tell for sure is to get actinic support to investigate.
