Related Items Question

Hello,

Can related items be added to products in the Actinic Catalog Client version (this is the version my customer has)?

And if so, do you think its possible to create this kind of effect with it (IMAGE 1). (using business multisite to code it obviously).

Related products are in Catalog Client. See the marketing feature list here: http://www.actinic.co.uk/design/catalog-client.htm . There are a number of past forum posts about how the related products layout can be adapted - try a search froum for them.

I'd be amazed if related products were not available in client, have they been switched on in the marketing menu and have you asked them to try setting one up on the marketing tab of a product?

To change how they look is just coding so easily possible, just needs to be done outside of the client software as it is a design change.

I'm not sure from the image if you want these to appear against the Product. If so, that should be do-able in V8 Catalog.

Also, I've done an add-on that extends the related product list on the product page to turn these into buyable popups instead of taking you off to another page. Demo on http://www.drillpine.biz/v8upsell/acatalog/Books.html

Yes norman I want the related items to appear on the extended info page below the product. (My ext info page opens in same window not a popup).
