    Hi

I can't get this coupon code to work on your site, sorry.

We have upgraded to 8.5.2 and our old codes work. I have not set up a new one yet though. Not much help I know.

Hmmm - your right its not working. I know this may sound stupid but try importing your upgrade snapshot again - I have recently had problems with default setting being applied importing snapshot which have been fixed when the snapshot is reimported (outside chance it may work) - post when you have tried it so we can recheck.

I also noticed that your banner is far too wide 1440px and is pushing the page beyond most users screens. Reduce it or split it and use a background image for the middle.

        Hi Donna and Mal,

Thanks for looking at this for me.

I have now managed to resolve this. I tried reimporting a couple of times which wasn't successful so I uninstalled and re-installed 8.5.2 and then did a further import. This failed twice (error codes relating to not being able to process the snapshot) so on the third attempt I imported the orders as a separate second step. This has worked and I now have coupons working again.

The import has left me with some missing graphics - a couple of my own and more surprisingly some Actinic standard ones (addtocart.gif, section_image.gif, brochurebutton2.gif and brochurebutton1.gif) which I need to add back in and I have had to re-jig some of the colours to get back to my original ones, but apart from that all seems OK. My Best Sellers has also turned completely black so I am going to switch it off until I get time to work out how to fix it.

Point taken about the banner. I was trying to ensure that the graduated blue transition into the background image didn't turn into a white background on the right of what for most people would be the widest screen size they would have. Fewer than 2% of my visitors are on screens of 800x600 or less, with over 40% at 1152x864 or more. When I get chance I will take the graduated colour off and work out how to put my contact information right justified so it looks OK on all screen resolutions.

Thanks again for trying things out for me!

i suspect there is a bug in the 8.5.2 snapshot which caused the problem as I have had similar things happen to other sites recently.
