    Fragment placing

    Can't quite figure this out.
When right clicking to add a fragment to product section, typically the new fragment displays below the section and above the first product.
For some reason, in some sections, when attempting to add a new fragment, it displays at the bottom of the list of products, and to add insuld to injury, cannot be moved to the top of the list.

    O.K.
Figured it out, but still looking for solution.
If there are subsections under the section, the fragment goes to the bottom of the list.
If the are products under the section, the fragment goes on top of the list.
Is there a way to place the fragment above the subsections in option 1?

      Hi Dave,

In the section that you need the fragment at the top, go to the layout tab of the section, change the "bottom sub sections list layout" to standard sub section list, the further down on the "top sub sections list layout" select no layout, the fragment will sit below your sections but display above on the live site.

I am not sure how this will affect any product layouts visible in the section, you may need to have a play with them.
      Many Thanks

This is an excellent thread for changing any order of fragments, sections and products.

            Fragments moved to top

I'm using v7 and I've tried dragging fragments to get them to the top of my product section. Also it is very important that they are search engine friendly.

Is there straightforward way for v7

I'm no html expert so please be gentle..

            Many thanks

Nothing complicated about using the search facility or being in the right forum. Try searching for 'fragment at top' or 'fragment placement' in just the V7 forum, the answer is a pretty sure thing to present itself. It's usually to do with section layout or you can try the shift key also.
