Limit the amount of products that are displayed on the pages

Is there a way in Actinic to limit the amount of products that are displayed on the pages at all?

Or possibly even a way for the customer to variably limit the amount of products displayed per page? As I have quite a few products in one section and it could take a while for the whole page to loads properly over a slow connection.

1. Yes, this is an incredibly common request, littered across the forum many times (try a search) and also detailed in the AUG (labelled as next and previous links).

2. No, Actinic is static pages not dynamic.
