Error Message in Design Mode

I am trying to switch to design mode from Content Tree and when I do so I get an error message at the top of the page saying "Page Preview - This Page is hidden on your website" and I can not then do anything in Design mode.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Check that you have not checked the hide on website box on that product/section

Yep - you also get the same message if you delete a section and focus on it under Design Tab

No definately not got any hide boxes ticked. I switched sites and went back into it and the message has now gone but still can not do anything in design mode preview pane.

Are you now seeing the preview and the code in the 2 separate windows.
