Changing The Default E-mail in Mail Tab to Something Else

Hi everybody

Is it possible to change the default e-mail address in the "View Order > Mail > New" to something else? The reason I ask is that we'd like to use it to send a packing list to a company's shipping department, rather than to the customer. Of course, it'd be easy to get somebody to change it to the new e-mail address each time they send a correspondance, but just wondering if there's a way of setting it each time to prevent human error and save time.

You can copy them in on the order receipt email through business settings as standard. To do what you want to do would mean a script change i imagine.

What I have done as a workaround is create a macro that automatically changes it and sends the e-mail. It's not ideal (client has another thing to remember ), but it's a pretty good solution.
