Help - Internal 500 error when trying to checkout

Hi,

I have uploaded the catalogue numerous times and still cannot solve this one.
I keep getting a 500 internal server error when clicking checkout, this works fine when viewing the basket.
Can you help please?

Yes i have changed the permissions to 755 on the OS.00001.PL file, still made no difference
I have refreshed the website 3 times, takes 3 hours at a time, I am losing money also and am desperate for any help please?

your whole cgi-bin needs to be 755, not just one file.
Don't worry about posting the url...we're all grown ups..as long as there's an "adult content" warning, no one will mind!
Have you also tried changing the script ID too?

You could try copying OrderScript.pl from C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Original into your Site folder, edit said file and add a blank line at the end, then do an Update. Actinic will definitely see this as a new file and replace os000001.pl without you needing to do a refresh.

The cgi-bin is set to 755 and yes i have tried changing the files to 2.pl
I am now trying a purge and refresh and will let you know how i get on.

Hi,

Have refreshed and still get errors when trying to access the checkout and view basket now, this never happened before.
I am stumped, can someone please take a look for me.
The catalogue itself is working fine.
I have checked the permissions which are set to 755 for the os.00000.pl and the ca.00000.pl

You have a mixed up box of some with acatalog, some without acatalog and some without nothing at all. There is something seriously amiss, what have you been playing around with lately?

Forget uploading, refreshing or anything more, this is currently a car with no petrol in it, no matter how many times you turn the key, it won't start. Get back to basics, check for base href for starters.

NIne of the scripts are working, I think this is a permissions problem, do you suggest any different permissions from 755?

Teclan upgraded my site from version 7 to version 8 and i am just loading this up

I dont understand base href.

Can you help as this is affecting my income drastically.

I do have page outside of the catalog too, but just want the sit to work, i realise i have broken links.

Have you messed it up since Teclan upgraded it or this is how it is from them? I'd contact them to take a look if it is not you that has messed it up. There is nothing normal about what we are seeing on your site, you need to be straight and to the point on what the hell you have been doing to be honest, can't help feeling we are not getting the real story and therefore it's very hard to try and help.

This is the first time i have uploaded the catalogue since teclan gave it me back.
I have been in touch with teclan today and we could not resolve this.
I have done nothing Lee at all, only sit here for hours loading the thing up.
I have been working with actinic since version 4 and am stumped with this one.
The catalogue should still work fine when you try to add to cart or view the basket or checkout pages.
