Product Layout Misaligned after refurbishment - what happened

    Hi everyone,

I did a major refurbishment of our catalog yesterday. I created new categories and organised our existing products accordingly.

The problem is that the product is all misaligned now with dropdowns entering the left Nav bar:

I don't understand what as happened as I have looked around in the category layouts and can't see anything obvious. The pages should look like:

If anyone could offer advice or help I would be really thankfull.

    Cheers

well, tbh, Leigh, both pages break my 1200 screen anyway so it's hard to know what you think it should look like.

You probably need to be looking at your product layouts...in the section layout tab AND the product layout tab...the old and new sections.
My betting is that, somewhere along the line, you have some layouts defined and some set as "use parent", giving different results.

That aside though, are you designing on a wide screen? If so, you ought to know that your site isn't even fitting on my 1200 and really should fit on 1024 at the very least.

I'd start again and confirm your changes have worked after each step, it's a right mess. For starters you have an 850 wide image to go into a 3 column layout which should fit a 1024 screen, no need for Albert on that problem.

Never a good plan IMO - lots of very small changes and snapshots. As lee suggests bin it and start again
