Extending Search Function

Hello All,

I am looking at implementing a dynamic kit advice function. I envisage a simple database populated with our products each assigned appropriate tags to allow customers to search on appropriate clothing/equipment depending on race/conditions/etc.

Before I start down this route I was wondering whether anyone had managed to extend the Actinic catalog databasein this way or similar, if this was possible I could see several advantages.

Any thoughts?

See the built-in Help for Searching On Product Properties - this may be all you need.

Actinic doesn't use an online database so there's little you can do there unless you're willing to create your own.
