    Fragment Position Problem

    Hi,

I have a catalogue sections ordered as follows:

    SECTION
    SUB SECTION
    SUB SECTION

I wanted to add a Fragment based section header. On doing so creates this:

    SECTION
    SUB SECTION
    SUB SECTION
    Fragment

Having done used this simple structure many times, you'd assume that Actinic would place the Fragment at the top when displayed. Instead of placing the Fragment after the sub sections at the bottom when displayed in a browser.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Or have I done something really silly?

    Using Actinic 8 - Designer

Sounds like it - I can put fragments where ever I want?

I have used Fragements within the Product Catalogue area before. So not sure what you're implying by the comment.

Sorry thought you were hinting I done something silly - and I should check it out.

I'm still none the wise, and there's no reason for it - although there must be

Here's the placement error in action.

In Actinic go to your section layout tab and swop the Bottom and Top subsection list layouts.

              Gary,
I the section details Layout tab, try setting the Section | Top Sub Section List Layout to "No Layout" and the Section| Bottom Sub Section List Layout to whatever the Top Sub Section List Layout was set to e.g. Standard Sub Section List

This effectively moves the sub sections below where the product/fragment lists appear.

                Hi Guys

                Thanks for your help.

That worked. Really appreciate the help, it's been a long day and this site been a challenging build to say the least.

ps: Fergus did you get a call from either a Phil Dennett or Keith Lambert? I sent them your way re an Actinic quote

Oh they havent contact you then?

Sorry might be my fault, as I told them Actinic would offer limited support due to the nature of their site.
