Same product but slightly different!

Hi All

You've all been really helpful so far so I'll chance my luck again.

Many of my products are handmade and though each has similarities, many are too different to have just a 'standard image' to cover all.

This means I could therefore have 3 products listed with exactly the same title and description but all with a different picture.

I figured I could identify an individual order by giving the photo detail as the product reference ie: DSC000138 and just bring up the pic on my pc.

However, having just done my first test order I realise that an individual product code does not show up anywhere on the order. So I'm stumped really!

Any suggestions, am I looking in the wrong place perhaps?

Enable the product reference so it shows on the invoice or just write a unique number after the product title so you know what each one is

Oh, I thought it was automatically enabled as it was automatically generating them itself!

Might I ask to know where I find the aforementioned enabler kind sir?
