My customer would like a checkbox after the Delivery Class in the checkout page, which says "First Class Recorded" with an additional cost of £3.95 on top of the postage Class they chose.

Why not just offer it in the list in the first place and keep it simple? You could even switch the list to radio buttons if they're concerned about it not getting seen. -
Okay, I might list them as radio buttons. Do I need to go into the code to change this or is there a standard option to make them radio buttons.
