Norman - I presume you've changed your SSL FTP password since then?

            You could try using
            https://sslrelay.com/www.shanitech.com
            https://sslrelay.com/www.shanitech.com/cgi-bin/

note the addition of 'www' - and see if that makes a difference.

Also worth trying a 'purge and refresh' once network settings have been changed, if you then get errors at the checkout stage (Help > Troubleshooting)

If your site is live and trading, you may want to take further advice before performing a purge and refresh.

Having said that, the checkout seems to be working fine, so looks like you have fixed it

Well spotted Duncan! Luckily that's an obsolete account and password. I've gone and changed it anyway as it looks sloppy.

                It works:
The following is needed in case someone else also have a same problem:

                https://sslrelay.com/www.shanitech.com/acatalog/

                https://sslrelay.com/www.shanitech.com/CGI-BIN/

                https://sslrelay.com/www.shanitech.com/cgi-bin/

Change shanitech to your web address.

so there are 2 cgi bins? - or have you printed 2 possiblities for addressing your CGI bin ?

Sean - thats the same URL - one is in lowercase (the lowercase G looks like a Q when its underlined)

                      Hi Fleetwood,

I was having similar problems to Sean with my 1and1 ssl until I saw this thread and it solved most of the issues. Unfortunately though, although the ssl is working it reports an issue in the browser (non-secure items on the page)as some of the image items are non-secure presumably because they are coming from the http cgi bin. Do you know how I could solve this?

do you have external references in your checkout pages, some form of adverts, tracking code or something.

                          Hi Neill

I'm not seeing any warning, but if you are, it may be related to the image in the right hand column, under New Products (Olympus Li-42B), which has a http and not a https URL.

Can't give you the exact solution I'm afraid (sure one of the others can), but you try removing the product image in the right hand col, from the checkout stage.

Thanks for the response Fleetwood / Darren.

I removed the google analytics code and it seems to be fine now.

                            Cheers!

It always tends to be something like this, you can change the code, google do have one for SSL
