Shared SSL from 1and1

1&1 Shared SSL Settings

Hi

I have read all the threads with regard to setting up 1&1 Shared SSL on our site www.filtamagic.com

Nothing I have tried seems to work.

Can anyone provide a step by step guide for a newbie.

have you tried normans settings he posted in another thread, also have you contacted 1and1 and asked them what your shared ssl server is. They are not always the same, they probably have more than one.

You might also want to post your settings here so someone can look at them

I have https://sslrelay.com/filtamagic.com/ as the info from 1&1.

I don't know how to get my settings out of ACTINIC.

When I get to the page on ACTINIC to enter my credit card details it comes up with https://sslrelay.com/filtamagic.com/...og/sp000000.pl

and ERROR404 page not found.

In Actinic go to Web|Network Setup and run a Test. Post any errors here together with an export of the network settings (with the usernames and passwords removed).

Where do I put this info then?

I went to SETTINGS/BUSINESS SETTINGS/PAYMENTS AND SECURITY/CREDIT CARD DETAILS CAPTURED FOR LATER PROCESSING/CONFIGURE METHOD/UNLISTED PROVIDER and entered the URL as https://sslrelay.com/www.filtamagic.com/
USER ID as our password.

two things, you turn ssl on in checkout under the business settings and then enter the settings under network settings.

Second thing, your not suppose to be capturing credit card details

search the forum for pci-dss, actually search the internet

Even more confused now.

I have 2 lines in my credit card settings. These were given to me by Actinic.

1. PAYPAL WEBSITE PAYMENTS PRO

2. CREDIT CARD DETAILS CAPTURED FOR LATER PROCESSING.

If I remove no. 2 it comes up with

"At least one of your configured Payment Service Providers require credit card capture payment method enabled. Please remove the provider (Paypal Website Payments Pro) using the credit card capture method first.

What does that mean?

Also do I just add the other info to the bottom of my Network Settings like this?

Hi

Please export your existing settings and send it to me. I'll run some tests and checks on it and try see what's causing the problem. You can export the settings by clicking on the "Test" button in the Network Setup area. Doing this will create a file please send that file to kcsupport/at/actinic/dot/co/dot/uk/

the bits you have marked would normally be the same username and password for your ftp
