Section Add To Cart Button

Hello

I was just wondering if anyone on the community knew how to add a "Add To Cart Button" in a section list page such as this page for example: http://www.gardengames.co.uk/acatalo...ine_Sales.html

If there was an add to cart button on ection section it would save having to click through. If anyone has any ideas or has managed to do this please let me know. Thank you.

Whereabouts is the add to cart button on that page? I can see none at all, just your typical SPP setup?

That's what i'm trying to do is add a "Cart Button" under each section product so that the customer doesn't have to click through to the product to buy, but rather buy right then and there from the section list. Do you think that's possible?

There are several threads including http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=35434 which has the code and a known problem regarding fragments in the SPP

I dont think its possible with section links - but you can certainly produce that layout with duplicates

If you can get price on SPP's, then there may be an outside chance of add to cart button also being possible, although i'd concentrate more on using product layouts to do this for you. They can be made to look identical to that if you know what you are doing and have the add to cart as standard as an added bonus.

ok cool. thanks for the input guys, i will scratch around see what i can do. It's going to be more likely though that i way until this is a tried and tested option to use. Thanks for the quick response though.

You will wait forever then as I doubt anyone else will ever use it - Mine and lees methods are tried and tested and are being used on many sites.

mal do you have an example site of where that method is used. Another thing i just thought about when i was looking at that code, that is a nice way of doing it with the product clicking through to more info, but surely that couldn't a be a SEO freindly method of doing it. I would really like to try get this working because i think this is what people want, people are much more internet savvy as time goes on and we need to just go with the flow.

excellent. That's the type of thing i'm looking for. I'm going to build a page with that design and see what people prefer and how the search engines read it. Thank you very much for your input chaps. Has been most helpful. I'll let you know what when i'm finished and what the seo results are. Thats the most important factor since you loose the page title, desc etc per product by not using sections i'm very interested to see how google reacts.
