Company name/title in browser

Any advice? I've noticed that whatever you put under 'company name' in the business settings box become the website's title, and is also what heads the invoices. Makes sense of course, but the name of my website isn't the same as the name of the company. The company is long established and the name isn't suitable for the site. I need the company name on the invoices, but the website name on the browser. Can I fix this by simply deleting the 'Pagetitle' variable from the code and putting the website name instead? (leaving the company name in the business settings). Not sure if this method will have any 'issues'.
