    Login Error

When i try to login a customer account i get the following bounce page

Error opening the index "../acatalog/oldbuyer.fil". No such file or directory. The web site is probably being updated. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact us.
I'm using V8.5.2 HMVA and this happens on both Firefox & IE6

Mext is a purge and refresh - all these solutions are already on the forum!

Try creating a new customer account as a test , upload it then temporarily post the login details here so we can see the problem.

No scripts appear to be running on your site.

Do a network test from within Actinic and see what errors are returned.

when i test network setting from Network Setting Wizerd it shows error

The "acatalog" directory exists but is locked due to the directory's permissions. Actinic can not work with these settings. Press Cancel if you would like to manually change the permissions and re-run the test. Press Retry if you would like Actinic to attempt to change the permissions and rerun the test.
Permission on "acatalog" is set at rwxr-xr-x or 755 which is the required permissions or am i missing something?

                          Hi Elaine,

Try the acatalog with permissions of '777', try a test in actinic and then see if it works. Once you get it working then you can try reducing the permissions on the folder. Actinic actually recommends permissions of '777' for the 'acatalog' and '755' for the 'cgi-bin'.

                          Kind regards,
                          Bruce King
