Product Prompts - adding engraving to a product

Hi,

Iv searched the forum and not found a related post.

When you clikc add to basket it goes to a page where i want the user to enter their desired inscription messgae.

How and where can i edit this page, iv looked in the design views but cant find where it should go. I need to add a text field so the user can enter thier messgae.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, im a bit stuck on this issue.

not sure what option has been changed.

Can you not perhaps just use an 'Other Info Prompt' for the product?

I've an engraving/embroidering add-on that allows multiple lines of input. It also calculates a price per character, allows for a certain number of free characters and can limit how many characters are allowed on each line. It allows for optional engraving and doesn't display the text entry fields until the customer decides they want engraving. This way you can have it as an option on all products.
