Unnecessary Quantity in Cart

Hi All

I have created a componant for an additional cost on a product, for if the customer wants their item put in a "Gift Box". There are two choices which are "Yes" or "No".

When I select No. Even though it doesn't cost anything, it shows up in the Cart with a Quantity of 1. How can i get rid of this?

Have you had a look in the AUG, think there is something in there to stop this.
